Care Cap Connections

Care Cap Connections is a non-profit organization that makes hand made, comfortable and attractive head coverings for cancer patients.

When we built this site, we had the idea of leveraging some of the developer resources provided by Facebook and Twitter in order to maximize the integration of the site content. One of the greatest features of the Care Cap site is the event calendar. With a bit of sweat, we were able to design an interface that automatically creates Facebook events every time a new event is posted to the Care Cap website. Also, every time the number of caps created by Care Cap volunteers is updated on the site, followers get notified on both Twitter and Facebook.
